Watch one product request become working software.

This is how I move through product judgment, interface design, implementation, review, and release.

Product-minded software engineer

I turn product ambiguity into shipped software.

I work across product, interfaces, backend systems, and AI-assisted engineering to make complicated software useful and reliable.

How I work

A product problem rarely stays in one layer.

I'm most useful when the shape is still unclear and the answer has to work in production, not just in a demo.

01

Start with the real problem.

I want to understand what the product and the people using it actually need before committing to a solution.

02

Follow it across the stack.

Some problems begin in a screen and end in an API, a queue, a data model, or a production log. I like following them all the way through.

03

Use AI without giving up ownership.

I use coding agents heavily, but keep the work grounded in context, tests, review, and clear responsibility for the result.

Career journey

A career across startups, products, and systems.

I've spent my career at startups, where the pace is fast and engineering ownership rarely stops at one layer. Since 2018, that has taken me through healthcare research, veterinary technology, utility safety, and healthcare payments, with work spanning interfaces, integrations, platform infrastructure, and AI-assisted engineering.

    Rialtic

    Senior Software Engineer

Most recently, I've been building document intelligence systems that use agents to parse and classify healthcare policy sources, alongside healthcare payment experiences and platform infrastructure. The work moves between full-stack delivery, distributed systems, and practical ways to use coding agents without lowering the quality bar.

  2. 2022 - 2024

    Urbint

    Senior Software Engineer

Helped scale an MVP from its first customer into a broader utility-safety platform. I worked across frontend performance, integrations, APIs, and onboarding while staying close to customer feedback and market needs.

  3. 2021 - 2022

    TeleVet

    Full Stack Software Engineer

Built Node and TypeScript data integrations and a React email campaign tool for veterinary clinics, connecting backend systems with everyday customer-facing work.

  4. 2018 - 2021

    Complion

    Software Engineer II

Started in healthcare research software, modernizing full-stack systems, improving database performance and observability, and growing into broader technical ownership and mentorship.
